The "Pigeon Train," number 158 ran through Pigeon, Pa. Nothing stopped the Pigeon Train, which was notoriously on time. This picture was taken from a photo I snapped in l988. The Pigeon Train is no more, but the ghost of her whistle still echoes through the forests around the town of Pigeon and up the tracks into the middle of nowhere.
